Who we are

Dan's All Natural is a small-batch skincare brand based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25.

What we collect

• Email address — when you join our waitlist or place an order.
• Order details — name, shipping address, items purchased, order history.
• Payment information — processed directly by Shopify (our checkout provider). We do not see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser info, used to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• To fulfill your orders and ship products.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates).
• To send launch and product updates if you've opted in (CASL-compliant; unsubscribe in every email).
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except service providers strictly necessary to run the business (e.g., Shopify for checkout and payment processing, our email and shipping providers).

Where your data lives

Order and contact data is stored on infrastructure operated by Supabase (with data hosted in Canada or the US, depending on region). Checkout and payment data is processed and stored by Shopify. Both providers are subject to their own privacy and security commitments.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as required by Canadian tax law (typically 6 years). Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and Law 25 you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, and request the data we hold on you. Email us to exercise these rights.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the site (e.g., shopping cart). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
